Madison Parman

CLASS:  2022

SCHOOL:  North Laurel Middle School/North Laurel High School

Coaches Quote: “Madison Parman is definitely one of if not the hardest working players I have ever had the privilege to coach. As far as being a teammate, she is and had always been one of the best, no matter what you ask her to do as a Coach, whether it is playing different position or helping pick up after practice and games, she does without ever showing any emotion or not wanting to do it. Madison is without a question one of the best kids I have ever coached as far as attitude wise and is always cheering and encouraging on her teammates. More importantly, she is even a better student never dipping below a 4.0 GPA. Madison always keeps a smile on her face regardless of all the negativity that players/students have to deal with in our current softball climate. Madison will be an excellent choice to whichever school that is lucky enough to get her!”

Interesting Facts

Who is your hero and why?: “Amanda Scarborough because she defines the term hardwork to a T. She was not blessed with height, yet she pitched for the Texas A&M Aggies at 5’5″. I have learned so much from watching her and attending her camps and I hope to reach the level she has.”

What qualities do I bring to a team to make them successful?: “I pride myself on being a hardworker and a team first player. If my coach needs me to play outfield, I play outfield. If my coach needs me to come in and pitch relief, I will come in and pitch relief. It’s all about the good of the team and what I can contribute to make the team better.”

Interesting Fact on Athlete:  “At an early age I learned that hardwork and dedication was the formula to becoming successful. This is a work ethic that my parents instilled in me and it’s a statement that describes softball and my academics. I am a team first player, and I lead by example. I always hustle and I always support my team.”
